vent from the radiator.

I'l have to replace the ventilator by the radiator. I don't have place for the orignal and wil take the original Renault 5 ventilator. The volvo has 3 pole's +,- and ?. I don't know. The renault has only + and -. Anyone knows why there are three, what they are doing and wich connector is what?

download the electrical scheme from our most respected member dragon : Website: http://volvo480.northernscum.org.uk see page 106. (its in dutch, but you have no trouble since e- schemes are readable, all over the world.)

there must be three, actually 4 wires, ground (brown) red for current though the temperature switch, and orange, that runs through an aircon relay.

- I'll accept your compliment, it was just a little... unexpected - I'd never considered what others thought of me here, that's all. I often think I need to contrubute more to the club in terms of less chat and more tech help, but maybe I'm always too hard on myself.

Are you sure that is the fan from the radiotor? and not from the (how do you say it in english?) kachel?

Because there are 4 wires, and the fan only has three wires?

no, its not the heater fan (het is niet de kachel ventilator) Maybe there is a t in special cases (thats why striped) just before the ventilator. if you read well.
