hi there, i have a volvo 480 es ( 2 litre ) and want to know if anyone out there has ever put a 1.7 turbo engine into a 2.0 litre es as according to the haynes manual both have different fuel and ignition systems. i have a turbo engine available but need to know if i also have to change the forementioned systems or whether or not the 2.0 litre sytems can run a turbo engine.
if not is it possible to fit the turbo gubbins onto the 2.0 engine safely or will it cause problems
