Volvo 480 Club Europe

Hello everyone

I bought 1992 1.7 turbo 480 a week ago. Unfortunately only 4 pieces 480 were exported in that time so i can not find spare parts and good repairman. There is a broken engine part( attached). I examined volvo parts catalouge; but i could not find this part's name. Could anyone help me? What is this name? Also i have one more problem. After 3500 rpm while acceleration, there is hesitation and my car can not accelerate well. Have any one experienced this problem and can this broken part cause the this problem?

Dear jifflemon. Thank you so much for your quick respond. I have already read this topic; but i want to fix my car with original part. As much as i understand it is impossible What do you think about hesitation problem? Can this damaged part lead to hesitation? If i try your solution method, can hesitation problem be solved ? I am sorry for taking your time but this is my first car and i don't have enough knowledge about technical info.

Potentially yes; The original parts are no longer available, and the "upgrade" whilst intended to help with modified cars, will work with standard cars too.
