B18ft start and idle problems

Hello
I am matthias, i live in belgium and i am building a volvo 340 wit a b18ft from a 440.
The engine is in and starts but wont idle.. it idles in high revs.
The the revs dont drop when you loose the throttle
It stutters when going full throttle and then dies when holding throttle.
And there is a big turbo surge noise comming from the open airfilter.
Anyone has some ideas what it can be?
I have already checked for vacuum leaks but none found
Greets matthias

Have you ran the built in diagnostics?

How do i do that? I dont think i have the diagnose port in the car. I just have the wiring for the engine and the 2 ecu's

Does anyone have som pictures from the vacuum lines for the turbo control valve? So i can make sure they are placed right.
There is also a sensor (i think for the air temperature) that isn't installed.. normaly it sits in the intake hose but it didn't fit on my car. Can this be the problem?

I would have thought so.

Maybe you can retrofit the diagnostics box? I have a funny feeling it is a switch and an LED.

I have to check that.
But i need to fix it quick becouse i want to do a track day next week.i hope to find something that is wrong..
Could it be the fuel pump? I'm going to check the fuel pressure tonight. But when i first started the car, it didnt get any fuel. Then i removed the filter on the botom of the pump and the car started. So i think the pump isn' that good anymore

Sensor missing will confuse the hell out of the fuel computer and cause it to pick a safe value.

I would get that sensor into the system and not was your time with anything anything mate.

I will get the sensor in, but i dont know exactly how it is installed. I know it sits in the rubber bend behind the maf but ther there is a tube on the other side and i dont know where that goes

Fitted the sensor, nothing changes

I have fixed the idle problem, it runs decent on idle but when i push the throttle real fast, the engine stutters.
When i push the throttle slowly to the max it is ok. Could this be the maf?

So how did you fix it? Did you have to reset the system? It sounds similar to mine, If I 'blip' the throttle and then stamp on the pedal as the revs drop (in neutral) it stutters quite badly, worse when very cold or very hot. I think this due to the revs dropping off too far, I don't know why this happens but I'd be interested to see how you reduced your idling and throttle response problems. It's a never ending battle!

I still had some vacuum leaks. Now the idle is more stable (still not perfect) and at more decent rpm.
But my car is still running way to rich so I think there are still some leaks

Anyond who knows where the vacuum line on the compressoe side of the turbo should be connected?
