It's all about "The greater good!!"
"If you can't fix it with a hammer, it's an electrical fault!"

Top bloke. Was yours running hot btw as my engine temp got to 110 degrees today and its never been that high? My info center has been on the blink so I hadn't noticed it until now when it has decided it would like to function again...doingitsideways wrote:It's all about "The greater good!!"

No, if anything it was, and indeed still is running cool.
Mine never gets above about 83°c as the fan cuts in.
I don't trust the guage, to be honest I think the sender is goosed!

Yeah I think it must be that. It has all the classic symptoms from what I am learning.doingitsideways wrote:No, if anything it was, and indeed still is running cool.

OK so I have now swapped it and all seems well again! Yay!
Doingitsideways I would love to take that sensor off your hands then? Below is a picture of the old one just to make sure.
Do you have a set of my warm white LED DRL's already? I will gladly trade you the sensor for a set of those?
Then its a WIN WIN.

Just to let you know that ebay sensor doesn't seem to work...I tried it and it is basically like not having a sensor at all.
I have got another working sensor from my now dead new blue car (lasted nearly one day before the cam belt snapped...gutted) and the car was working fine for nearly a day when the fan suddenly wont switch on and I think the fan temp switch has now gone too..
Why me?!!!!
