no fuel

hi all 'removed engine in 2008 and have refitted it this year and have only got around to connecting everything up ' took loads of pictures before strip so i knew where everything went but a lot has happened since then so lost everything ' i am getting no fuel whatsover 'pump not working when ignition on and have found the pump relays and dont think theres any power to these either or at the pump end ' any ideas would be much appreciated or where to start looking 'thanks kev

depending on age of car you coul;d have fuses attached to the relays under the dash above the fusebox. Note not ihe ones in the triangular relay box in engine bay. One of these relays + fuse is for the fuel pump .

hi'i found them but seems to nothing happening as i assume should at least click when turn ignition on 'i have swapped them with same relays and checked all fuses and still nothing 'would any wires in engine bay or sensors cut power to relays etc ?thanks

Check if power going to pump at relay with a multimeter. Then post up results so we can eliminate everything step by step.

decided to start from scratch and recheck all woring in engine bay and aha noticed a live wire hidden away behind battery 'reconnected that and i had power to fuel pump relays and viola started so im now quite happy to get things put back together 'thankyou glasgowjim for replying to my post 'much appreciated 'kev
