hoses

hi all 'been a long time since i removed the engine from my 89 turbo and now it is time to reconnect pipes etc i am having a few issues to where these pipes go 'if anybody had any descent pics of coolant pipes and turbo pipe connections etc that would be much appreciated

Tee hee...ahem....back to business....

Looking at my collection of photies all I have really is the top hose from intercooler to throttle body but I guess that is not much help as pretty obvious where that goes...we can arrange to meet up sometime and take a look under my bonnet (ooer) if u like

The parts books is on the club site with exploded diagrams but some of them are a little too exploded if you see what I mean...so hard to tell what goes where.

alright fella, careful though some of the diagrams might be from pre-1992 turbos (ones with black inlet manifold). I couldn't work out which was which without chassis numbers to hand. Should be somewhere near tho

About Hartlepool...it's not that bad, I lived there from 2006 to 2011. Now I'm in Hart Village I guess some people class that as Hartlepool also. But both Hartlepool and surrounding villages are now in County Durham honest since Cleveland is no more

More...just noticed your signature shows '89 turbo so with these pics I have assume chassis # is prior to 551749...

POE, in answer to your PM:

#1. The discharge hose from the electric pump looks like it goes to the turbo.

#2. There should be 4 hoses in total connected to the radiator - coolant back from from thermostat housing, coolant from turbo, coolant to expansion tank and coolant to mechanical pump.

I'm just reading from the above schematic, we can meet up when I am back and work it out.
