Watter Circuit

Post by BNZ » Tue May 08, 2007 6:59 pm

I try to sort the hoses in my R5 to the B18FT engine including the aux watter pump, but i am stuck to a stupid thing.

Witch way does the main pump push the watter ?

The 2 inlets to the pump i presume are :
1. inlet/outlet in the head,on the flywheel side
2. inlet/outlet in the pump itself, near the oil filter.

I presume the normal water circuit is 1.ilnlet 2.outlet but, just wanted to make shure with you guys.

One more thing, allso same problem on the aux watter pump.

The inlet is on the pump near the oil filter. I know because I have just finished fitting a new bottom radiator hose.
