how will these injectors work on richmode?
has anyone ever tryed this kind of upgrade?

Have you tried Saab 900 turbo red injectors?

no, i could not find that type. still i now have installed injector from a audi a4 1.8 20v Turbo.
they are 230 cc flow, with 2 holes
and if anyone is interested the original injector are 190 cc flow with one hole.
it moves pretty well with these!
Re: 350 cc injectors on b18 ft
940 or 740 Turbo injectors will do the job.
They are a Bosch - 0280150804 is the part number
They are a green colour

Please enlighten me. 230cc, 350cc, 405cc, it means injecting 20%, 80%, 110% more petrol into an engine which is supposed to be running fine, whether standard or modded.
What are you trying to achieve, what is the theory behind this?

a bigger amount of fuel is injected in the engine in the same amount of time.
on my car, there is a slight difference in performance, and i noticed that when i was using the original injectors, the spark plug color was white/grey , and now they started going dark orange.
Re: 350 cc injectors on b18 ft
Well, this is not a theory. Injecting more of this precious fluid into an engine will of course darken the spark plugs. And "a slight difference in performance" can go both ways. What I am wondering about is how a complicated teamwork of ignition- and valve timing, mass of air, mixture, rpm, you name it, can be improved by just an enrichment of the mixture without taking into account any of the other players in the team.
What actually will happen is the lambda sonde in closed loop will correct the mixture, by shortening the injection time, to the set value up till about 3000 rpm and at higher rpm the mixture will be richer than set. This will by no means guarantee more performance, the only clear differences will be a cooler engine and higher consumption.
The ideal air/fuel ratio under different circumstances (top performance, acceleration, cruising) is pretty well known amongst engineers and I was hoping the subject of this thread would change something by an explanation of new insights.

Re: 350 cc injectors on b18 ft
A simple question
But to fit 740 turbo injectors I ve to do some modification on ecu?
Ours is 15.9 ohm but green have a different ohm if I remember correctly
