Sometimes threads get out of hand. People start offending each other or do things that are not allowed (like asking for illegal software). These sort of threads will end up in the 'Hall of Shame'.

Very true Jamo, I got back here and the 480 is more fun on bends but the mustang leaves everything else to rot.

It really did shift and sounded sooooo cool.

Mustang still looks like ford ... I dont like the design.
The only ford that does not look like a ford is a REAL car, look here:
http://www.fordvehicles.com/fordgt/index.asp?bhcp=1

btw, I prefer the classic (late sixties?) version of it

Well, look at the evidence... in Europe, Ford hardly have a reputation for building interesting and fun to drive cars - they are excellent for affordable workhorse transport (afterall, that IS why they started making cars...), but with
that comes dull driving in my experience - even their "sports car", the Probe... what a flop...

The probe is awful to look at. Thing is that american cars are mostly powerful and they don't have them here cause it's not cheap to buy petrol
so when I go to Canada I found myself wanting powerful fast car cos the fuel is cheap and it's my hoils!!

I don't like fords normal cars but it's a like Vauxhall or Volvo they are boring. This is why I drive the 480 (it's fun)

Now if Ford sold a UK Mustang you can bet it would be slower/smaller engine.

Driving here and over there is not the same. That's why they have meaty cars and we don't. But we have little roads with lots of run. Theres are crusing roads for speed.

So don't knock it. :dispute:

I hate ford, but the american made ford muscle cars are a different matter, they are brilliant machines.

Very nice car.

Martin how much did the rental cost you?? And which company did you rent from??

I'm heading over to the states for a holiday sometime soon and was looking to hire a mustang whilst i was there, so that i could kinda partake in a volvo meet over there with some friends from turbobricks.

Otherwise, i'll have to slum it and borrow a set of wheels from my uncle over there.
