thats what i thought. but i suppose i have no reason to believe they won't send the right bits, its just that online folks all use the same diagram, whereas gsf had 3 different ones with a different dia. clamp giving away the larger bore. ;)

Cheers, spotted those guys from your previous thread already. they win on price so far, middle pipe, rear silencer, rubber mounts and clamp delivered for £127. not too bad at all. (considering i went to viking direct in glasgow, who had all the parts but would be £160 plus fitting bits not inc...

Turbo Silencer

Well perhaps everything was going too smoothly, mot this month and my rear silencer has just given up :( I've been looking around online and been to a few local factors. Can anyone clear up for certain that the rear section of the turbo exhaust is different to the 1.7/2.0 NA engines? I'm hoping to g...

my history is:

Volvo 480 Turbo

its the best, worst, oldest, newest, fastest and slowest car i've ever owned. as it's the only car i've ever owned :D (not counting a matching non-running 480 turbo that i had for spares)

scratch all of that, and feast thine eyes upon; the biggest turbo i've ever seen thats actually in use. I bet he enjoys his ~800rpm power band  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag4nLpu1nJ0 edit: there really is no shortage of crazy supra videos, what an awesome engine in a sadly blobby car. this ...

And the winner is... Martin, just not sure what the prize is yet :? Having cleaned the engine bay last night, i started and ran her up to full temperature today and the only sign of oil was the sump plug, my guess is that the oil that has been leaking was being blown about whilst driving under the e...

My previous 440 had an oil leak at the back side of the engine near the cambelt housing. This leak turned out to be at the cover of the oil pump shaft. This cover is helt in place with two bolts and had an O-ring as a seal between the cover and the engine. My O-ring had become a sort of square-ring...

right, i've been out and had a good look around/underneath. i did the oil change correct to the letter, new copper washer fitted, smear of oil on the filter seal etc. it is leaking past the sump plug, but it was already on pretty tight, i've tightened it with a large extension bar as tight as i dare...

Guess where my oil is leaking from

Well all of about 500 miles after an oil change i'm instantly regretting buying 'cheap' oil fuchs xtr 10w40 from gsf, despite the fact that it was semi-synth 10w40 i'm deffinately leaking from somewhere. My guess is that since its a brand i haven't used before its had a dissagreement with one of my ...

yeah i'd get a multi-meter on the alternator terminals as a first check, you want ~14v certainly more that 12. could this also be related to a megafuse? i've never had issues with mine but have read about charging probs related to megafuse?
