its the best, worst, oldest, newest, fastest and slowest car i've ever owned. as it's the only car i've ever owned (not counting a matching non-running 480 turbo that i had for spares)

My previous 440 had an oil leak at the back side of the engine near the cambelt housing. This leak turned out to be at the cover of the oil pump shaft. right, i've been out and had a good look around/underneath. i did the oil change correct to the letter, new copper washer fitted, smear of oil on the filter seal etc. it is leaking past the sump plug, but it was already on pretty tight, i've tightened it with a large extension bar as tight as i dare...

yeah i'd get a multi-meter on the alternator terminals as a first check, you want ~14v certainly more that 12. could this also be related to a megafuse? i've never had issues with mine but have read about charging probs related to megafuse?
