Centre rear reflector - WANTED in good condition

Looking for a very good condition centre reflector for between the rear light clusters.

Mine has a deep couple of scratches, so I'm after one with no scratches or chips

Thanks

Re: rear light revival....

The Meguairs stuff includes UV protection I believe ?

I had a go with mine which weren't 'that' bad and they're definitely a bit better. OK enough for me to delay fitting the as-new clusters plus Dutch seals I got 6 months ago. Will save that for a rainy day !

Re: rear light revival....

Hi
Would you mind giving a step by step so I can take exactly the same approach rather than trial and error (as it worked!) ?
Thanks

Re: rear light revival....

Impressive results! To help your fellow sufferers on Club Europe, could you say exactly what bit of kit you used to apply the Meguiars stuff with ?

Re: Intermittent info centre

Give up now, before its too late...

In all seriousness, I replaced the circuit board and info centre (brand new, old stock) and now it all lights up but the calculations are all a bit wonky.
I've settled for the lights working along with the fuel bar gauge - that's good enough!

Good luck !

Wanted - front Seatbelt presses / stems

The red buttons on my front seat belts have worn through, so if you have a pair in good condition I'm interested !
(Its the complete units that the seat belt buckles click into, down to the attachment to the seat frame.

Re: Headlining Replacement Walk Through Guide

Mine was just coming away from the backing near the rear seat belt hangers so I: 1) loosened the rear hatch seal 2) made a straight cut with a sharp knife along the back edge to lift the lining off a bit further. 3) Sprayed that spray on glue (Multitak?) as evenly as I could. 4) Pulled it taught at ...

Went for £180 which sounds good value if you consider what Skandix charge each!

Re: Picture Of Standard Automatic 4 Speed Shifter

As you've never owned (or driven?) an automatic, don't go thinking its anything like a modern day DSG / Tiptronic / Sequential / robotised manual gearbox. It has no 'modes' ! Its a basic gearbox where it will change between pre-set ratios. You could hold it in gear manually if you must do (as Steve ...

It was and it did.

Interesting reading.

Any ideas why my rev counter would come and go (all or nothing) but the speedo carry on working ?
