Tail lights and seat belt holder acquired... Can anyone help with windows regulators, temperature sensors (X2?)
High priority: indicator stalk, cooling fan switch
Maybe needed: b18 engine
Thanks
Confused - you have a GT, why do you want a B18 engine? It's a B20F in a GT.....

Re: Rev hanging issue!

The fuel injection on the 2.0 takes a signal from the speedometer to sense vehicle speed to cut fuel when the throttle is released. My 480 also experiences hanging revs when the speedometer decides to stop working Not sure that is true Yes, it is; certainly if getting the speed signal to the speedo...

Re: 480 GT Breaking

Apologies it does seem your right after abit of research not an actual gt model. Although on the document sais gt. I can only apologise. No need to apologise; there was a whole batch from around 1993 wrongly recorded at DVLA. That's why How Many Left talks about there having been over 300 GTs when ...

Red or green GT?

David
If this is the car I saw listed on Facebook earlier, then it's not a GT - rather another case of an ES with GT on the logbook.
It's Paris Blue with black half-leather, no A/C & a power moonroof.
Ah...thanks Will.

Sooo...today was an important one for Felicity, as she has moved on to a loving new home. It was great meeting Colm (GLTease) this afternoon at Leeds Bradford Airport when he flew in from Belfast. Re: Retractable rear cover

They will fit any 480, model or age. But the mounting brackets aren't fitted as standard. So you need to acquire not just the roller cover itself, but also the two brackets it clips to. Often, on the occasions you do see these for sale it's just the roller cover, which will be useless to you without...

Yep, the cables don't vary with engine size; it was to do with the pedal box and release arm set up...

I have a spare cable from a 2.0i which should be the one you need.

I'll PM you.....

Re: Full list of UK spec colours?

Great work Jeff! Just a few observations based on the above: Not only did red become bright red without changing code from 231, bright red then kept that name but changed code to 235 There were 3 different whites between 87 and 95 Black was originally solid - I think the "standard" Volvo code 019. I...

AFAIK, there aren’t any reproductions. I believe you can make a 850/940 one fit, but they are longer and lower than the 480 one.
Until you use a 440 centre console (which also gives you an additional Ash tray in the rear.....
Glad to see it proved useful ;)
