Re: Various parts for sale

Hi All Time for an updated list! Most parts are free; in all cases postage is extra I'm afraid but you'd also be welcome to collect (or if by chance I were to be coming your way I'd drop off to you)... N/S (UK passenger side) earlier style front fog light (the ridged style lens) - brand new old stoc...

Re: Laurie - '94 480 GT - Racing Green Metallic

Did anyone get to the bottom of what antifreeze they're meant to be running? My local Volvo dealer suggested GL5, but I heard 4 was the right specification... Just use genuine Volvo coolant. It's not really any dearer than a good quality equivalent and it's right for all their cars. If you use some...

Re: Does this imply that my car is still covered by a warranty?

This has come up recently on Facebook as well, so to stop people wondering, the short answer is: NO . Lifetime Care was an interesting idea in its day and has long since been discontinued. The premise was that IF you had you car regularly serviced (within the 1 month/1000 mile tolerances) by a main ...

Various parts for sale

Hi all, Having recently been lucky enough to acquire a fair amount of spare parts, yet at the same time trying to wind down some of my more major "restore and repair" activities, I am very gradually having something of a sort out of my spares stock. This means certain things will be coming up for gr...

Re: Laurie - '94 480 GT - Racing Green Metallic

Great to see another green GT on here; interior looks in good shape as well :D You're fast discovering the parts situation, and yes, some Volvo main dealers are more helpful than others. I am lucky with mine although I have put a lot of business their way over many years and they still get to annual...

Re: Lambda light on gauge cluster??

Definitely should have a bulb, Will, so someone has removed it and neatly blanked it. It's another of those lights that should illuminate with ignition then go off.

So it'll be interesting to hear what it does once you fit a bulb.....

Re: Rear light seals

Yes, Jeff has.

BUT when you remove the existing light units you'll find they're already sitting on nice new Jeff-produced seals.....

The rear side markers are also sitting on nice new Jeff-produced seals too😊

Re: Welcome Seymour

Was wondering what engine Seymour has. Being a Phase 1 on a G-plate with plain B-pillar covers I'd have thought it was a B18E. Although it seems to have the inlet manifold from the later B18FP? I suppose whether it has a catalytic converter or not will be the giveaway. :? /nerd_mode_off  Remem...
