Further to the above it's been a great day here in Scotland - only a handful of us on the drive but new people met in person (Fraser aka cranna21 and Alan 480).

Thanks as always to Sylvia for all her hard work - a shame her 480 decided to kill its turbo but at least it has kept going!

Just to advise that lots of roads around south side of Aberdeen and those leading to COVE have been re-worked due to the new by-pass so best if you 'update' the SATNAV where appropriate o typical, just printed off all the route sheets !! Thanks for info, glad we didn't find out when we all got lost...

Sylvia, if you bring it to Scotland with you I will bring my spare set: we can compare and if swapping provides a better match then happy to do so.

Seeing one of my previous 480s for sale looking like that, or worse still stumbling over one in a scrapyard, has always been one of my nightmares...gutted for you James. Don't really want to take on the car although I'd like to see it rescued (just don't have the room, or else temptation might well ...
