It's only 3 bolts (gearbox) holding the starter motor in but depending on the model, the worst bit is the heat shields. As you don't have a turbo, I'm assuming the worst heat shield is not present so you are lucky! Remove the driveshaft heat shield and steering rack heat shield from under the car an...

Maybe i'll hang on to them for a bit. No one wants to be working on their cars in this weather!

They may also be useful for fancy dress? Transformers?

I dont think the rubber boot bit will really make that much difference. Might stop it bottoming out. It sounds like your dampers are dead. I re-used the volvo foam rubber bits which look similar to the ones in the picture. I think they are more of a 'bump-stop' ? If something was loose enough to cau...

FOR SALE: Wheel arch repair panels - New

Hi all, I bought a pair of wheel arch repair panels (outer skin) a few months ago from another forum member. I ended up buying another 480 so never tried to use them. I believe they are front arches as the rear panels are no longer available (you fit them to opposite corners). If anyone is intereste...

I think it would have too much power up front to be much use. Also I cant see the handling being better than a modified RWD bmw.

It'd be fun though and I bet it'd do some good burnouts!

Maybe the 2L class would be a fairer race? (Slightly boring though ;) )

Good luck with it.

Why would you want to make a nice car look like a Civic?!

Sounds 'sick' in the traditional sense to me, but each to their own! Surprise us.

Sometimes there is a problem with the speaker in the CEM. You should also get a beep if you hold the rear window demist button in for a few seconds and an amplified ticking noise when using the indicators / hazards.

That is rather ridiculous. I was trying to give it a chance and, well, the body work is nice, but its not worth that much i'm afraid. GBP = £4,539 It's an S, so bottom of the range, no turbo, no special edition, standard interior apart from the momo which is nice. Good mileage but sorry. No way. ...
