You can get special glass polish for the windows in an automotive store. Should also work on the fogs, it only works on small scratches though. It will cost lots of elbow grease, so be prepared!

Could also be a short in the wiring from the pop up motor. Sometimes the wires are damaged where they enter the pop motor behind the black rubber like goo and short out there. Scrape away this insulating stuff to check the insulating of the wires itself. Or the micro switch in the motor itself is go...

And that is pretty damned dense, the kind of fog that you have to read the roadsigns to know where the hell you're locat...

Socket 5 has several functions to test the CEM. In this tread you can find the explenation.
The lambda can cause this. Be aware that you buy the original Bosch lambda, other brands can cause troubles. If you look in the howto topics there´s great tread about testing the lambda with a multimeter.

There is an oilsieve, no filter. But to change it the subframe and autobox needs to be removed from the car. No way to change it with the box in situ.

I assume you're after the cold start sensor? If so this is the wrong one, it's the fansensor in the rad. The coldstartsensor is indeed the one with the blue connector located under the right side plug. Just go to the dealer, as there are 4 types depending on chassis nr/ engine type. There not that e...
