I've banned those 3 users.

There are usually a couple of spammers a day who post exactly 28 posts each and then leave.

Fortunately I am able to mass delete all their posts when I ban the accounts.

I've banned both of those users.

Registration has been enabled for about two weeks now just to see how we went with it. We didn't make public so as not to give spammers a new challenge.

It may have been in between lots of spam threads when things were really bad on here, possible it got deleted then by accident.

I have banned all those users, I’m going through the mod logs every day to see what you are deleting and then banning the users, because I can only ban them and not delete, I’m also clearing their profiles so no URLs are displaying and they are not getting their Google hits

The other problem with the speedo I found was flaking paint behind the pin which stopped it moving but it is more than likley a loose connection as with most things in the 480

Ok quick update. Daniel is working on server access. I now have the ability to manage all user accounts however even with new users set to admin approval an email is sent to the admins and with about 30 odd users registering almost immediately so we all got spammed with new user requests. As a temporary measure to stop new spammers, the registration of new members has been disabled.
In addition, all of the most recent spam IDs have been deleted and their posts purged.

I don’t actually have the ability to remove users or elevate anyone else’s permissions, only the admins can do that, believe me if I could everyone who has offered help would be recruited.
