but i wanted to go bigger! my whole aim with the car is to just use a combination of lots of rare parts/mods on a car which pretty much everyone has forgotten! haha

looking on ebay at new items for a renault 19 which after speaking to the seller he assures me it fits any 480 1.7 engine

my car is a 91 however the engine i am unsure, it's being used for a low compression forged turbo build...

the engine i have is spare and out of a car, so therefor i do not have a chassis number for it.

what are the differences between chassis numbers?

Did they need much? i was looking into using modified polo 6N2 ones, i'd imagine these are pretty much the same coilovers?

What front struts have you used that fit?

by the time it comes to needing megasquirt i'll be running a 1.7 turbo engine with a full 2.25" stainless system and a few other supporting mods (or at least thats the plan) as for what megasquirt, i'm yet to figure that out, i need to speak to someone who knows what they're talking about with them ...

Plan was to use a set when i go down the megasquirt route, just gathering info at the moment! i have infocentre in my 480 but thought that with installing a megasquirt ecu i'd lose the info centre and so would need another display for fuel / water temp, but maybe thats not so?

anyone got a set of non info centre dials? or know where i can get? or are they the same as 440/460 ones? thanks

I was thinking on sticking to a volvo 480 1.7 turbo purely for the wiring and trying to retain the info centre, surely the wiring can't be that much different to the standard 1.7? hi folks, i've got a 91 480 ES 1.7i N/A and i'm looking for a long term project for it... i dont want to turbo it or charge it in anyway so i was thinking just all out N/A ITB's Cam ect, however that got me thinking, i be aswell put a 2.0 480 engine in it, and then i thought why not a 16v conversion...
