You mean arches from a dead 440/460 or aftermarket arches foreseen for 440/460 ?

Bakke,

I still have a complete dash home.
If you're interested PM me here or on the french forum.

With this extra dash, you can practice yourself before risking damage to your dash.

http://smileys.sur-la-toile.com/repository/Messages/up.gif Did anyone already tryed to repair rear arches using ... front arches ! Ex : cutting out of a spare front-left pannel the wheel arche to replace a rusty rear-right arche. And thus, the front-right pannel could be used for the rear-left arch...

You can try swapping the alternator with a new one but I think removing the wire is an acceptable cheaper solution. BTW, I also have a '88 turbo and I also got the problem after taking the whole engine out of the bay ... Sounds like a default feature of the 480 ! What are the other problems yo...

Got a similar issue ... Does the warming system of the rear window still work ? Try to unplug the single red-black wire on the right side of the alternator. If it solves your problem and everything still works fine , you can keep it unplugged. It is unplugged on mine and it still works fine. Accordi...

:hopping: Cool, sounds like there's a lot of people interested. Shouldn't we organize a poll in order to decide : 1) WHERE will the meeting take place ? 2) WHEN will the meeting take place ? 3) WHAT are the different things you would like to see/do during this W-E. Once the 'where' and 'when' questi...

When I drove to Ireland last year with my former V40, I had no such stickers. (BTW, they didn't have any on the boat).
I also never got any remarks for that from the police even when they caught me for speeding ...

I live half-way between Born and Ghent. I think we should definitively go to Born but a visit of the Ghent factory is much more interesting. May I make you a proposal : check here . It's a very central location and it is possible to plan road trip to Netherlands, Germany, France, Lux. or Belgium (of...

And the question is : "Where will the meeting take place ?". That has been previously discussed in an other post but, no clear answer so far. I think anyway that a little visit to Born (where the 480 was made) is mandatory. I can contact public relation department at volvo Ghent in order to arrange ...

As Bakke is in Zaventem, you wouldn't have to travel much to move the car, that's a good thing.

If still plan to sell parts, let me know.
