make sure the BOV is located as close as possible to the inlet manifold , and also check the piston seals on the BOV (they are quite cheap) when they are wearing out it can sound like a cross between a fart and somebody badly trying get a note by blowing on a blade as grass cupped in there hands . :...

Hi Derek , when you lower any car with a rear anti-rollbar you need to shorten the anti rollbar or else it will push the rear axle maybe 1cm to the passenger side etc!!!! if you lower a peugeot 106 40mm it moves the rear axle 18mm to the passenger side which makes the car try to go down the road sid...

they are pretty bad from bournmouth area too , so much sea salt in the air that you cant grow grass in your garden very well , and some people even use astroturf instead off cooch grass!! LOL

i think you will find thats the wrong chip , the cem does not do the fueling timing and engine managment.

as far as i know it is no longer available, though could be wrong as it onvolves about 3 to 5 hours of rich pruen time (plus very extra bits that you pre purchase elsewhere) and i don't think rich is available anymore for that service, it's huge shame but he was doing them at cost price almost etc a...

with seized hand brakes cables , sometimes this causes the hand brake to be on 20% lets say whilst driving which causes lots of heat (for agruements sake 300 degres C ) and not only does this screw the brake fluid on that caliper but can also seriously heat damage the caliper beyound repair . cheers...

first check that your thermostat is ok (boiling water test ) and that your radiator is in good condition. also putting fully synthetic 10w 40 motorcyle engine oil will help (made by castrol) and others

also had a 480 that would not start and it was the ignition relay behind the steering wheel above the control pedals , i had to be a really bend over backwards whilst upside down to get at it. this fault is quite rare though.

your best bet is to put on a good (probally home made) cold air intake and increase your fuel pressure and put bigger injectors maybe only 15-20% bigger . if you had all the parts about £150 ish (secondhand injectors from scrappy) you should see a geniune 15-20bhp increase with much better thrott...

i am pretty sure it is now sold , gentlemen's agreement etc , sorry to see her go but at least it's to another avid 480 FAN
