For Gods Sake! I can't physically keep my fingers crossed any longer, so although they're now un-crossed, I'll be offering positive thoughts up for you :D

Once a week eh...they're not solar powered by any chance are they?

I get a bit rattled at anti-mod's etc, I can't help it. Yes, there have indeed been more ruined cars then I ever care to remember (Mynheers S70 R top's the list), but you can mod a car without it being ruined. I have to say, that as i'm getting a bit older, I prefer standard cars with manufacturers ...

Just reading the bloody thing made me feel tense like I had to clean a car.... I have to confess, I did get quite niggly after cleaning the 480....I used to take it on a 'lap' round town to blow the remaining water out of the window/sunroof/doorseals (until I discovered compressed air ), and I'...

No pictures of the arches though.... Nice car, good for a collector but not much else. That sort of money I'd never drive it! And yes, I think I would become a slave to the bodywork. It is nice, but not my cup of tea. Good museum piece? Maybe a club member could buy this one, put it in their dr...

Well, I'll give it to you Esta, you're always up for trying something out! I actually found the 440 to be quite nippy with the B20f lump, and it was lugging the great old thing about on big wheels and a rock concert in the boot! Whats the official BHP of a B20f? 109hp? or is it 112? Can't remember. ...

Hi Esta...cheers! :D I'm using One.com. I get 3000mb free for the first year, so I basically paid for the domain name, which was about £11 all in. Next year though I'm charged for my 3000mb + Domain name-I think when I asked it doubled the price I'm paying now. My site at the moment is occupying ...

Cheers for the emails guys, they all seem to be coming through ok! The website is finally active! It's taken about 4 months, and only 50%-ish is up...I'm not the most focused! There's more stuff to come, a bit more nerdy I will say, but the basics are there and it's covering what I wanted it ...

I'm in the process of building a website. I've got an 'In Progress' page, and an email button. Anyone who reads this, could you possibly go to my site, hit the email button, or just send an email to info(AT)dcmoore.co.uk The website address is dcmoore.co.uk Just a simple 'Hello' will do! :D Also, it...

Hey Rach. I'm pretty sure as your's is a '95 it's the fixed focus lamps, so you'll need a complete unit unless I'm mistaken? You can change the glass on the earlier lamps (think they were upto '93). May be worth your while looking for an earlier set maybe? The glass is much thicker on them too. I kn...

Hey Rach.

I don't have one, but at the top of the parts section I listed the one I bought from Volvo, and it only cost £6.50 inc VAT. I don't know if the price still stands or not, but just thought i'd pass on the info :D

Esta- I was running standard shocks on the 480 with a 40mm drop. The shocks were a bit knackered anyway, so I got some KYB Excellence shocks, Oil Filled. They were nice and firm but still comfortable combined with the springs. Is it the KYB springs you have? If so it'd be an identical setup to mine....

I reckon it was just bought/registered after production had stopped. I've seen a *handful* of R reg 440's before, but know that production of those finished in early '96... Perhaps it was hidden under a blanket or something in the showroom, then the wind blew the door open one day and the blanket bl...
