You might find its a 12 year anti-perforation warranty rather than just corrosion. Also, they usually insist on a yearly paintwork inspection, usually done with its annual service if it has full dealer history.

Did you use the T4 gearbox, does it have a limited slip differential in it?

Volvo did their own sports suspension kit, although its super rare. It included slightly lower springs (20mm?) uprated dampers and a shorter panhard rod to keep the geometry correct.
