Just thought Id say that the Rich Mod isnt 170 BHP at the wheeluses!Its 135 BHP at the wheels. That sounds kinda low for the preformance difference... it only uprates by 15bhp???? The 120 bhp standard figure is at the flywheels, so as standard at the wheels you would only get 90 (or so) bhp. So dep...

I have owned my 480 turbo for about a year now and have had rich mod for about 6 months. My queries is that my car does not feel as lively as 170 bhp would suggest, people have posted about torque steer and wheels spin being problems in 2nd and even 3rd gear. you mention bike carbs can conventional carbs(webers maybe) not be used? any particular reason for this, how much better would they perform than the injection. Also anyone seen these generic electric super superchargers.... i am very dubious.................... Webers are too thirsty for daily use....

In regards to tuning a (non-turbo) 480, the usual performance exhaust route and air filter is always a good start. The MBC can replce the solonoid valve. Connect the IN pipe to the turbo outlet pipe (top pipe on the solonoid). and the OUT to the wastegate actuator. The other pipes can be plugged (or left in situ) best to plug the ports on the solonoid just in case you need it again, so it doesn't fill with dirt...

whip off the manifold, about six/eight bolts along the back, and one down the front, as well as removing the hoses. then undo the bolts on top of the rocker cover and lift it off.... half an hour tops? and that with the engine hot so you can't touch anything!
