Side exit exhaust!

After seeing several R5 GTT with side exit exhausts. I thought I will have some of that action too! I am going to cut the exhaust where the pipe comes closest to the sill, it is an L-shape so the pipe will sit just in front of the passenger rear wheel. I have seen a few cars running bike cans, and a...

even so twin turbo 480 is a bit of a non-starter. Either keep the T2 and be happy or get a T25/28/3 and just except its gonna be a bit laggy :D

EDIT: unless your Rich, then you get a T3 and a supercharger.

As far as I understand you do loss top end power. Hence why big power supra's and skyline's use a single turbo.

Plus the 480 has quite a tight engine bay, and as Brasco said the T2 is small turbocharger anyway. Bit pointless me thinks?

They look good in Blue with white decals! I have to say the side skirts of that 480 look phat. i love those ronals, some...

Nitros injection anyone? As with all 480 lumps they are tough as old boots, run a good shot of laughing gas might be a good idea? Other than that there is no real off the shelf stuff :( porting the head might be a good bet, performance cams pretty much dont exist (although a re-grind by an experienc...

Re: Gearbox engine mount swapover - any tips?

I broke my front gearbox mount the other day by driving super fast in 1st gear at full lock. The whole engine has fallen over sideways about 10 degrees. The car is just driveable (no reverse gear tho!) Bloody hell that must have taken some doing! As for getting the one off your spare car. As long as...
