But then again i'm very sceptical on cars with no history i only took the chance with the celeb because i fell in love with it at first sight!!!! The swine has had me un...

Hmm, that is correct thinking I assume. The EZK can cut boost when it sees problems. You only have to find out what it sees as a problem. Boost, knock are two phenoma, but it can detect more. Boost spikes (iffy hoses on the boost control valve, or broken valve), throttle position sensor, dod...

Okay thanks, are there no special exclusive Volvo 480 been made / sold anywhere in the world with highly tuned engines? I made one. Depends what you mean by highly tuned though, turbo and supercharger, running 2.5 bar boost, with the aim to go up to 3 bar. Way too much power for a front wheel drive...

But....first thing is first. I need a new clutch because the other day the engine decided to rev up rather than give the richmod kick! Well, I'll check any adjustment first, then clutch replacement..... Again loads of thanks for your help :hopping: No problem, I'll try to help if possible. Th...

The actual car itself was totaly standard looking from the outside, so not much to show. I have all the pictures stored, so I'll see...

Re: boost issues

Hi guys and gals, Could someone tell me why it couldnt cope with having the MBC at full boost? Im thinking the engine is probably running weak, but....just not sure.... And should I try turning it up more?? Muchos thanks guys :) The reason the MBC doesn't give that much more is that the mod...

I have one on ebay. It's kind of heavy, so postage would be quite a lot.

My name on ebay is rpruen also, so you should be able to find it (I hope) can't post a link at the moment because I can't get to ebay's site.

Re: Why my signature say the car is squashed (aka I crashed

Do it! Get over to www.volvo300mania.com, pretty good forum :D Plus, a lot of 340 or 360 have really low mileage like 30-50k. I'm going to take a little break for a while, if only to save up some money. I spent so much doing this project that it's frightning. Most of that was engine related, so isn...

Sad to hear, luckily you all right. I would imagine the torque of your engine will tear the 340 body apart. The 480 is so much stiffer. Agree with you there, but having an engine to gearbox/diff torque tube will do a lot to solve that. The 360 has that as standard, but I'd need something a bit more...

Trying to work something out. Maybe if someone nearby wants to deal with the postage side, and bring the ECUs with a car to test them in. I'll happily do that. I can make some time every other weekend to do it. I can still do super mods I guess. I know where to obtain all the parts, except turbo ada...

Why my signature say the car is squashed (aka I crashed it)

I'm sure people are wondering what happened, so here goes... It is squashed, quite badly too. I was going to repair it, but having noticed that there was a crease as far back as under the drivers seat, there is just no way. I hit a rock, and then the sump hit a bigger rock, and while airborne, the c...

I have a volvo genuine kit for sale. Lowers a tiny bit, and has stiffer shocks. Not as harsh for a daily driver as aftermarket stuff. Was fitted to my car 5 years ago, new at the time, so is still in resonable condition. Rear damper metal cover tubes have gone rusty, because of salt and not being pr...

FOR SALE - half leather interior

As subject I have a half leather interior I no longer have need for. The seats are mostly in good condition, with some wear to the leather bolster on the drivers seat, the normal sort of thing with these. No rips or tears in the leather. I also have all the trim panels for the dash, and door cards e...

ECU mods (no more, sadly)

Now I have no 480 to test ECUs, then I am unable to modify any more.

Sorry about that.
