Re: Wanted crankcase recirculating valve
Thanks James,
However that post refers to the non return valve connected to the idle controll valve.
The valve that I am looking for is the one that is inside the foam cilinder just next to it.
The valves are quite different.

Re: Heavy stutering (seems fuel related)
Hi guys,
Sorry to bother is there anyone able to confirm the point number 2?
Should the resistance be 10kohm.
BR,
João

Heavy stutering (seems fuel related)
Hi everyone, I'm having yet, more issues with the '91 turbo. last month it started stuttering heavily. When starting cold on idle I can hear some misfire and the engine is very weak and sluggish in lower RPM ranges. If I push the pedal a bit harder than 30% on lower RPMs the engine misfires. I took ...

Re: Low idle on cold start Turbo 1992
Hi, I agree with Rachel. the most probable culprit here is that diaphragm valve just before the ICV. Those give all sort of issues. Even if it has not gone bad, I would suggest replacing with a 710N valve. I had a very similar issue (if not the same) in the past. Take a look at Rachel's link You'll ...

Tips on removing rear spring suspension
Hi guys, Last month I decided do swap the suspension springs on the '91 turbo. The front ones went withou many issues. However the rear ones are proving to be harder than I thought. I'm having troubles disconnecting them from the rear axle. There is a bump stop holding them which i cannot remove. On...

Brass throtle screw replacement
Hi,
The slot on the brass throtle screw ( the one covered by the blue plastic protector) is gone. I cannot adjust idle.
Is there any replacement screw? Or do i need the whole throttle unit?

Odometer tooth gear broken.
Hi guys, Sorry if this is the wrong place (I know it's not an electrical issue but It seemed the best place) My odometer is not working. The reason being that the toothed wheel that connects to the electric motor broke. Right now I'm looking for a replacement. Can anyone let me know if this one fits...

Re: Overhaul of rear suspension and axle
Hi guys,
I'm able to clear the rear springs from the top mounting.
However, the bottom of the spring is stuck due to the bump stop. I'm not able to remove the bump stop (at least in one piece). It does not have a retaining pin that I can find.
Any one knows how to remove it?

It's finnaly happening: Rough idle
Hi guys, So, since last year I've been experiencing some rough idle issues on my '91 Turbo. At first it started as a puff here and there when idle-cold. It was like one or two a second, but very unnoticeable. On the last 2~3 months it got very worse: the idle would not stop going up and down, betwee...

Re: New igintion coil
Thanks Robou for the help, I was looking at one of those coils and although they had more primary resistance, since they were described as High-output (40kV), I was thinking that It would produce a stronger spark (perhaps higher secondary to primary winding ratio). Any more specs I should be concern...

New igintion coil
Hi guys,
I'm gonna buy a new ignition coil.
One doubt popped to mind. According to haynes, primary winding resistance is between 0.4 to 0.8 ohm.
I'm thinking of buying an oil filled one that has 3ohm. Is this resistance difference OK?
Thanks for the help.

Re: Broken suspension spring. Can't find replacememt
Hi guys, Thanks for the help. My issue was exactly upon seeing that exact same thread that Jim is showing. I noticed that there were a lot of variants. and looking at ebay most of the springs were rated for almost any model (air-con, non air-con, turbo, non-turbo) and since I know that the same spri...

Broken suspension spring. Can't find replacememt
Hi, I've gotten a broken suspension spring. Its on the bottom of the spring so the car is still quite driveble. However I can't find a replacement. I'm thinking of replacing both the front springs and the back ones. I'm looking for the closest match to the original springs but I'm only finding 40mm ...
