Re: Info Centre Accuracy
'Afternoon All I was wondering, having read the account by Motor magazine of their long term test of the 480ES, in which nearly everything possible went wrong. One of the issues they found was that when the info centre read there was a 20 mile fuel range left in the tank, there was actually nothing...

Nobody likes you driving a SUV. Owning a 480 will make you lots of new friends. Here on the forum, in the auto-parts shop and in the workshop.

As for the knob: 3D-printing?
Or if you can form a mold, make one from epoxy resin.

Re: My Storage tips
I had my car under a cover for several years. I used a good cover with a cloth lining. I had worked out a folding scheme to have the cover moved and replaced in the easiest and quickest way. It was always windy where the car was parked, but when it would be heavy windy I used a strap all round the c...

Re: Favourite 480 memories
Many fond memories but this in particular: the low floor allowed my Bernese Mountain dog to easily get in -and step out! Jumping out of a car is not good for dogs bones!- I had removed the rear central armrest you understand to accommodate 50kg's of Bernese. Oh and I used a dog safety belt. When tem...

Re: Low mileage Celebration for sale
In the Netherlands they ask more for lesser cars. They would put this one up for five figures and it would probably not sell.

Re: TV channel +1 (timeshift service)
Great explanations from you both, thanks! I have been watching BBC via satellite since the nineties, and really discovered ITV and Channel 4 and 5 et al. since about 5 years. Apart from that I view a lot of the German channels and NHK-World -I am a big Sumo fan. There are plenty of Dutch channels, I...

TV channel +1 (timeshift service)
I view a lot* of freeview UK TV. Many channels have an extra channel with an hour timeshift eg. ITV4+1, channel 5+1 etc. What is the exact point of this? And why doesn't the BBC have it -for as much as I know.
*actually not a lot but when I do big part of it is UK.

Re: 26th October Mini Meet Lincolnshire Wolds
You all had a great meeting, a pleasure to see the images.
Seeing the 480 nose as on the red car in this image, I can imagine the designer may have been inspired by the nose of the Ferrari 412.

Re: ES TT on the 'bay - Genuine Gem or delusions of grandeur?
What does "TT" stand for? "Twin Turbo"?
Anyway it's still a car with all that belongs to it, insurance, road tax, maintenance, more maintenance, oh and it is a 480, so add even more maintenance.
30,000 even if it is true it is very low. It is not good for a car to drive only 1,000mls/y.
