Well, the easiest way to solve it is to simple take the one from the passenger door :D Who uses it anyway? I had noise problem with mine to so I remo...

Yes I have, it showed me endless resistance which clearly shows that it's crappy and is causing all of my problems as a temp sensor isn't supposed to show that. (the temp. was somewhere between 10-20 C approx.) Talked to a guy at a swedish 480 forum and he had the same problem as me and when we dism...

Ok, so the tempsensor is ordered at Volvo but it will take a couple of days and in the mean while I've been digging around at the local scrapyard and I found two 480's that still have their tempsensors mounted as so I'm wondering if it's worth it to pick a tempsensor up from a scrapyard instead of V...

Well turns out I did two things in my car today along with my pal! Changed spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body (the two intakes). What I didn't manage to access was the temp sensor because I really couldn't find it! Maybe because I don't know how it looks really, but I tried real hard and sear...

Hi everybody! I need your help guys inorder to identify this black box that is positioned on the wall to the left of my clutch. Since I bought the car, that spot has been uncovered and the plastic cover was nowhere to be seen so I went to a scrapyard to look for a new one (because i obviously looked...

What hose should I take off? Is it possible to do all this without removing the front? My problem right now is that I can't seem to find all those hoses. Right, I got the one that goes in and out of the reservoir, but that's it. Where is the heater located where do I find this bottom hose from the r...

Yeah, but I tried to verify You can do it without taking all that off, thats the point of putting a tube over the drain, without a tube, the water will run onto the bumper and all over the place. Reach in from behind and underneath. that this will work, but it won't as the bumper covers it too well....

I checked underneath my car today and couldn't find anything that looked like a drain. All I saw was a lot of screws underneath the front. It was all covered my the front part (bumper, grill, spoiler) and held on by a lot of screws from left to right. Where do I find this drain? I tried guiding myself...
