Re: Some episodes from the life of my 480

Haven't seen a single 480 in a years time!

Anyway, was at the diy-shop for a piece of wood, and the owner surprisingly asked if it would fit inside the Volvo. He still remembered the 480, I dunno from what.

Try contacting Photobucket. Maybe there's a mistake and it can be resolved.

Re: photobucket account has gone bye byes

Many pictures I've posted over the years on other hosts seem to have expired, but Photobucket has still been reliable for me. As suggested above, maybe you made an error with your user/pass.

Bitzer

With my nieces I have been watching 'Shaun the Sheep'. Some unexpected humor in this series! I like Bitzer the Sheepdog a lot, he's a funny character. Very serious ticking the sheep on his notepad, on the other hand seems to have a secret life. I wonder, what does 'Bitzer' stand for, if anything? An...

Bad steeringrack (slecht stuurhuis goede overige onderdelen)

I am aiming this advert at the Dutch. Hence the Dutch language. I am giving away my old bad steering rack but with good ancillaries. Bij het opruimen kwam ik nog mijn oude defecte stuurhuis tegen. Ik heb het bewaard want wat er aan vast zit is nog goed. Hoezen en kogels etc. Het is gratis voor wie e...

Re: Quick decline into the life of a 480 owner

Fully understand your reasoning Jim and very sensible it is too. Have to say, though, it's the end of an era in the 480 world and I am sure the shockwaves will spread far and wide...like you say, stuff Brexit - this is serious! David What he says. Jim, it has been an experience to have met y...

Re: Superethanol E85 on our 480?

The one time I added some E10 to the E95 in my 480 immediately I had engine problems. In Germany the bastards raised the tax on E95 to force the introduction of E10 but the majority of Germans refuse to take it. I am not using it in my current car as well. If god wanted cars to run on sugar, he had ...

It's a fact the Dutch are nuts. You have to see the Netherlands as one big mental institution.

Re: Some episodes from the life of my 480

I received mail from the new owners of the Volvo. They tackled the rust, did some other jobs and gave the car a good polishing. I am happy it's being cared for.

Chris, at least you finally had the car to run trouble-free so you will part with some satisfaction. Good luck with your job and who knows what the future will bring in cars!

Rear window wiring loom

I never actually used this on the car but as a template to fix the wiring of my 480.
It looks good and all electric connections measured 100%.
Make me an offer.
