Re: Flaming urgent

Thanks James, 3345235 and 3344880 are the part numbers I have been given the originals were melted off. I have tried a few sources but no luck so far. Am hoping Fraser may be able to help otherwise I am thinking a trip to your neck of the woods (Lakes) is an option.

Re: First 480, first real project car

Things seem to be progressing ok Will. If you get thru the mot maybe you can make the Waterfalls mini-meet on the 15th of March. There will be a few of the ‘locals’ along to that, so plenty of help and advice available if you need it. Good luck. Fingers crossed I will make it. Just after my birthday...

Might be worthwhile just clear taping it for now until Sylvia’s European connection produce the new lenses.

The waterfalls mini meet

Hi all, as you may have seen on Martins new year new 480 thread, I was thinking of a northern mini meet. So have decided to start a new thread (thanks Martin). It is looking like the 15th of March and as a rough guide to anyone interested will start and finish in Skipton. Distance of about 80 miles ...

I will try and sort a scenic route with some decent driving roads and a pub meal. Bear in mind I am not in ...

Re: New Year, New 480!

Ooohhh... I've visited the Yorkshire Dales in 2017, in a LHD V70 which is a good drivers car (thanks to the Ford Mondeo underpinnings) but I think that wasn't as much fun as it would in a 480. Took a detour from the A65 (to Malham Cove) and more or less followed the signs "Unsuitable for HGVs" :D W...

Re: New Year, New 480!

Hello David, Many thanks for the reply. If you're able to click through this link https://i.imgur.com/ExyAvrr.mp4 you should see the dance of the two wedgie eyebrows :) If it doesn't work, the symptoms are that when the ignition is on and headlamps on, the pop ups both work fine and stay up unaided...

If it’s got the rear lights and the wheels are decent, it’s well worth a bid just for spares.

Re: First 480, first real project car

Welcome to the forum and wedge ownership. If you are thinking of keeping the car long term then I would advise replacing the arches. You will find 440/460 replacements will fit with a bit of work . Good to have another 480 nearby I am in Knaresborough, so look forward to meeting up when you get road...
