There's a really good Volvo Breakers yard near Shrivenham 01793 784313. They tend to have a good selection.

OK. I've been and had a look. @ Dave. It's in Bognor Regis. I make that about 500miles from Edinburgh! Not sure it'd be worthwhile to post, plus the owner wants to be able to drive it to the breakers. @ Alfonzobonze. No luck I'm afraid. They were crumbling in place, and to be honest if they'd been a...

Cheers Rob,

Makes sense. It probably accounts why there's hot air around my feet whilst it's all meant to be directed at the windscreen as well.

Did you ever get any response to this? I have a similar problem, and in this weather it would be useful to be able to see out of all of the windscreen!

Make sure you've realigned the glass in the runners correctly. It's bloody fiddly to get it right. But it does make a difference to the speed of the opening and closing. And btw I'm on my third drivers side and second near side window regulators. They are crap.

The cable harness running into the boot lid is knackered! Bare wires everywhere, and has been like that for quite a while. I work on the principal of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Rear wiper now working. Didn't do anything. It's just decided to work again. Ho hum. 480's eh. Gotta luv 'em eh! Iain

Rear wiper motor

Wiped once this morning and then.... nothing. I can hear the clicking from the CEM/Relay but no movement at all. The rear washer jet works, its just the wiper. When I leave it on, I can hear the blower fan speed drop every 6 seconds or so - when the wiper would be working. I have checked the fuses -...
