Spec of the engine is as below for those as nerdy as me  F7R A700 2.0l 16v Block and head - as per Renault Clio Williams Block overbored...

Re: No spark - No start - help or scrap

if all of the plugs, leads, cap and arm are in good condition i would check the crank sensor, its positioned at the very top of the bellhousing right at the block, can be had on ebay new relatively cheaply, i'd also just check all your earths and make sure thats all good as it should be!

Re: 1991 480 ES "Williams" 2.0 16v conversion!

I might re-cycle this pair and make them adjustable, however, I do have at least one other pair of complete normal arms, unsure of the bush condition... I think I'll try to keep it as original as I can in the sense that I have some good condition mount here anyway, I'll just beef them up for longevi...

Re: Yet more engine issues

Might be an odd suggestion or maybe something you've checked, is the air filter still in ok condition? not totally choked up? or at the other end of the spectrum doesn't have a massive hole in it? the other thing that crossed my mind is a dying fuel pump/blocked gauze on the fuel pump pick up Anothe...

ADJUSTABLE PANHARD BARS

Hi Folks, A parts fabricator I have used quite a few times among other folks on here I'm sure also is in the process of making up adjustable panhard rods for the 480, handy bit of kit if you're lowering your 480 and want to even everything up on the back end and correct axle shift and other geometry...

Re: 1991 480 ES "Williams" 2.0 16v conversion!

Another small victory last night! Been planning to relocate the battery into the rear of the car, try to tidy up some of the bird's nest of OEM wiring + my additions with the Standalone ECU... So far I've got it mostly mapped out and have a rough idea where everything is going just needed to figure ...

Well... after the stress of incorrect parts being supplied for the clutch + flywheel for the C30 my 940 can be put back into semi-retirement for winter and the C30 back into daily duties! MOT on the C30 due next week and all looks reasonably well on it so fingers crossed... see pics of the C30 + 940...
