Re: Chronic idle problems now solved !

I have two TPS sensors for the 2.0 engine: one old Bosch and a newer "unnamed". On Bosch the resistance is about 870–2500 Ohm (from closed throttle to fully open). On the unnamed one it is 1100-2600 Ohm. I have read somewhere that the correct resistance should be 1000-2500 Ohm. Can someone confirm t...

Re: Info Centre

I also have a problem with my info centre, so I will join this thread. Whenever I start the engine, my info centre seems to get a reset in terms of average speed and average fuel consumption. Once the car is running, everything is ok and the averages are being calculated. They are also being shown a...

Re: Day running lights

You can rise them manually using a white knob at the end of the popup motor. Just be patient, it takes some time

Re: Seat heaters

Apart from wires around the temperature sensor, it is quite common that the wires between the seat and the backrest break. As others said, start with measuring the resistance to find the faulty part (as far as I recall it should be something around 1.5 Ohm for each half of the seat). Just remember t...

Re: Centre Console Cubby Removal/Aux Gauge Installation

I can see the whole gauge set with the sensor and the bracket in this eBay auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/192032858258 The price is a bit high...

Does anyone know if the bracket can be replaced by some non-original part? It seems to be a fairly simple part :)

Re: Opening the dash

You need brave pills, then you pull the rotary headlight switch, yes.Its not the knob, but the whole assembly that comes out, by the way I think that the proper way of removing the round light switch is to remove the knob first. Then it is possible to press two small plastic "levers" which release ...

Re: Stuttering under boost

I had similar symptoms and it turned out to be a broken wire to one of the injectors. At least I hope so, because I have just finished fixing the wire and I will make a test drive tomorrow :)

Let me dig up this old topic—I have a question related to it :)

It seems that my keyhole illumination is always on. Should it be like that? I am a bit worried that it is slowly draining my battery :)
