When autoglass came to fix my windscreen we found that the side trims, instead of being riveted, had been bonded in by a previous replacement done by RAC windscreens. I'm out of it now - autoglass man found rust above windscreen which I need to stbilise before he fit windscreen so he is coming back next week. Avoid RAC windscreen repair they did a bodge job which meant I had to destroy the side trims and inadeqaute prep resulted in the crack.

Looking possible for me although I have just got a cracked windscreen on the GT.

The following is buried away in a threads so it may be better here. Because the 480 door is heavy, and heavier when car is on a slope or with e=wind behind, the door stay support area cracks and gives a tell tale cracking noise when opening the door - something to listen for when buying a 480. The seats aren't Celeb even - just the door trim - he isnt making anything of it anyway

Haven't camped for over 3 decades. Must be a b&b nearby - and also no hills to lose me mobile on.
If you like the idea of the New Forest there is a big campsite at WWII aerodrome Holmsley - then I can sleep at home!!

Identified drain as 0.14amps which seems a tad high - next job is to pull each fuse in turn and identify the drain circuit.
Other work gets in the way like connecting radiators (as in house) finishing flat to let it etc etc (not to mention 4 days work next week)

My wife gets equally excited when more than one 480 appears - that is why I have to sell the GT before I get a TT.
Otherwise I would have been in the frame.
