i can't answer specifically on whether that combination will rub or not, ...but 13mm isn't a great deal, have you thought about getting the lips folded back for more clearance? you could also fit a skinnier tyre to gain yourself more clearance, this is what a 195/40/17 looks like; http://www.tyrest...

Re: oil pressure sender

i dont know weather or not you can buy the adaptor anymore at volvo. i got one second hand after a lot of searching. the sensor can be bought new at a few places but its useless without the adaptor. find that first if you can.

Re: oil pressure sender

you need the sensor and adaptor block that screws into where the standard oil pressure switch is. on an es there is a spare orange wire near the alternator that goes to the gauges connector. if you can get the sensor and adaptor i can advise from there. il try and get some pictures.

new they are quite stiff. i thought the same with new lower ball joints, when they are bolted on they will move easily.just a tight fit. they are not handed, same both sides.

Re: Wanted: b18ep cylinder head

Thats a turbo head jim. EDIT: could I use a 2.0 head without any problems? No it won't fit. The B20F head is a completly other design then the B18. The B18 has the Heron type as the B20F the Partagee type. The combustion chamber from the B18 is in the piston, the B20F combustion chamber is partly i...

bkf_uk wrote:why not take jims set then use one of the blanks from the set you have in the car atm and just remove the boost gauge??
why not just connect a vacume pipe to the turbo gauge as normal, it will still show the manifold pressure.

Re: breaking a 93 2ltr 480

i think the 2ltr head has different valve angles an bigger valves but my memory is grey. :? i think they have a different cylinder bore as well, 1.7 with larger bore =1.8, 1.7 with larger bore and stroked =2.0. i THINK. :?in which case i dont think it would fit.
