Agree. If it's as good as it appears it's almost a bargain.

Low mileage Celebration for sale
If you haven't already seen this, KGF Classics in Peterborough have a15K mile Celebration 'coming soon'. https://i.imgur.com/7Y0pMKH.jpg As Jeff has rightly pointed out on facebook, this is probably going to be one of the most expensive 480's ever listed for sale. My guess is £8995, but as they have...

Re: Bulbs for instruments
"BTW: while you are busy taking out the instrument cluster and gauges, take the time to replace the small T5 bulbs, there are 7 hidden in various places in the dashboard. This one will buy you enough: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-Neolux-1 ... 1411511121" Robert, What do these bulbs light in the da...

Re: 26th October Mini Meet Lincolnshire Wolds
Thanks Sylvia for the hint on the rear hatch seal.
460 being broken near me, so will go and grab what I need.
Guessing its the seal in the picture?
Anything else worth grabbing if avaiable? Not sure on compatibility between models.

Re: 26th October Mini Meet Lincolnshire Wolds
Marc Water in a rear foot well will almost certainly have come in via the boot and run forwards (unless you had your window well open in the rain?). First off check the boot carpet because chances are it's saturated underneath...if it is, then I would also recommend taking that back seat out becaus...

Bulbs for instruments
Hi all, I'm looking at replacing the bulbs in a few dash instruments as most seem to have died. The oil pressure/voltage dial cluster uses 3off 966326-1 according to the parts book (which is the same as those used on in the majority of the info. cluster). I'd just like to confirm its this type befor...

Re: 26th October Mini Meet Lincolnshire Wolds
"Al was watering plants whilst I was soaking up water from Lily's rear offside footwell. DC very kindly loaned me his precious file of brochures for a spot of research which I had put in the same footwell (eek!) thankfully, all in plastic wallets and the water wasn't deep enough to get inside anywa...

Now planning to meet up with everyone at the Rutland Water stop and continue on from there. Hopefully Sharon and Rod will also be coming. Can't get hold of Rod currently so not confirmed. Re: 480 on eBay
Can see the CAT badge now! Couldn't see it on my phone.
I didn't realise the 1.7 ever had a cat. I assumed the 1.7 was dropped for emissions reasons and the 2.0 was when the cat was introduced.
What's a 1.7 with cat and auto like to drive? Never tried a 480 auto (not sure I want to either!!).

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-480-AUTO/223646321003?hash=item34125c096b:g:sPAAAOSw2x1da4UW This beautiful 480 was sold on eBay earlier this year and is now back up for sale. I know it went for north of £2K originally. SHMBO would love this as it's her favourite colour! Would this be towards the ...

Re: Guinness world record attempt......
The website is up but very limited. I guess it will evolve, but FB is where most of the info. presides. https://www.volvo600.co.uk/ There was a launch event at Bruntingthopre this weekend with over 300 cars attending. I know Ashley attended in his 480. Youtube vid here: - https://www.youtube.com/wat...
