Re: Volvo 480 Turbo from Siberia

Hi Alexander what a fascinating story! I know a lot of westernn cars started a new life in Russia after the Cold War, I am so glad to hear there is a community, or at least individuals preserving them. It sounds like you would have had to get very creative in order to keep this car going, maybe even...

The 480 is now famous* having now appeared in a piece of automotive journalism! https://i.postimg.cc/RVgCHwNp/E5-E0-AA27-F740-4637-8989-774-FB6-DCFFCE.jpg This is part of a superb new magazine called Classic.Retro.Modern, which is well worth picking up as they have some well written features on less...

Hi there Jim, this was where I lurked before entering the beige! You have a really nice one there, glad to see someone is saving the base models, and you don't hang about either! What you said about going with a straight negotiating tactic will definitely come in useful for me, I have my eye on a hi...

Re: 1990 Turbo Auto - VOL 480T

On watching the video, this case is a bit different to mine, whereas in my case it sounds like a creaking noise of tiredness, that one sounds like something is loose, which could be a case like James said of the shock not quite fitting properly...

Re: Your Input Required: What to Look For Buying a 480.
