Re: .
I have to say tho, that finding one is the hard part. 94/95's are not on Autotrader that often. And the ones that are Brasco buys and sends them to the scrapyard. Only kiddin. The late 93+ cars do feel a lot more 'modern' than the earlier cars, but saying that there's always plenty of parts ...

Should have a 'spotted & where is it now?' section like the MG owners club do - any cars you spot or if your trying to track down your old car go in there, really good idea. Saw a nice red Celeb Tuesday in Chester, unfort was 3cars behind so didn't get to give them a flash :( Apart from that can co...

Re: This Clay stuff...
I can get her looking like this most of the time now through consistent waxing: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v520/DanThe440Man/My%20480%20Turbo/IMG_1110.jpg Yikes, someone pass me my shades! 8) Sure your not respraying that car every week rather than polishing it Dan? Minty. Clay = 10/10 cats ...

I wouldn't recommend Rybrook Chester Ad, they charged mum £65 to tell her they couldn't diagnose her 480 as the car was too old and they didn't have the correct diagnostic connector. I'm going down with her next week to try and get a refund as I think £65 for telling her that was a tad excess...

Rob, from a turbo to a tractor engine! Can see your reason why though, when I had my turbo try as I might, there was no way I could ever drive it 'sensibly', you don't have much choice in a diesel (unless it's that diesel Skoda VR5 that blew past me a few months past). Is it a 'turbo' diesel?...

Bad luck Ian, especially annoying as no valuables on show. I had the (standard) alloys knicked off my old turbo on New Years Eve a few years back, left it on bricks. Tip of that week was ALWAYS USE LOCKING WHEELNUTS! (and no, it didn't even have decent tyres!) Glad the damage wasn't worse for you a...

That will be wierd getting back into your old car, but nice one! I saw my old MG a couple of years back in Chester (had sold it at auction 10 years before). Managed to stop the guy, have a look over the car and sell him the old hardtop I still had for it in the garage! Would like to know if my old ...

Seriously SAD!
Oh my god, I though spending Sat morning waxing our 480's and giving the engine bays a clean was a bit geeky (looked good though!). http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y91/stuchacks/480celeb14042007002.jpg Looks like your going to have to move up a bar on the cleaning front Dan 480 Man! Stu.

Bad connection/earth or wiring would be my guess Richard. Might be worth a look in the Haynes Book of Lies to see what else it's connected to, and also just checking the fuse holder connections also for starters. Not sure what to do with that steering wheel in your crotch mind  Good luck with ...
