Re: Fuel tank

You can check the calibration of the tank. Next time you fill up to the maximum, put the ignition on whilst holding the grey button without the hole down. Move the dial to vertical (fuel level) you'll see a report of how many litres the car thinks you have in.

Got a Pella too, it's amazing. Has made my changes more frequent as it's fun to play with a new toy!

Spotted a two-tone on our trip up to Scotland from Cambridge. I was in the C6 but gave a beep and a wave anyway.

Re: ECU Modification

I never received any feedback about a blown auto in combination with my mod, so desperatly searched the forum for Matbat and his misfortune. To no avail. Could you be more precise? Hi Robou‎, I think I am talking about Martin Holmes' troubles but that was with the RichMod which was rougher than you...

Unfortunately not, modifications have blew up the autoboxes when it first started. Look for posts from MatBat back interest day

Re: Need an electronic fuel pump

What type of engine do you have in your '87 car? The early ones have different injection system and different fuel pump pressure to pretty much every other 480. On your engine VIN, what are the three digits after XLBEX? On your pump, what colour is the body? I had a pump die on my B18E and ended up ...

480 Club France Meeting in Belgium

My Dad and I made it over to Belgium with my 480.

Very happy to see Sylvia (dragonflyjewels) and Al there with their two 480's along with various French, Belgian and Dutch members.

Here's a picture from when I'd just arrived:

That's pretty bad that they haven't bothered to at least treat the rust from the break in attempt.

This picture shows both types in one car. Probably not a good idea as there'd be too much volume behind you. Illustrates the two designs nicely though

Re: Lily the turbo's strange noise

What if the turbo is being starved of oil from a bad feed pipe or something and maybe the bearing is noisey. I do hope not though Sylvia.
Do you have the correct grade oil in the engine?

And thank you Balto for that recommendation on tweeters. I have some ready for the front but I may get your suggested ones for the rear cubby hole speakers in time and swap them over.

Re: WANTED: Original tweeter

Sorry David for my late reply. I very much appreciate your offer and I may take you up on it. Knowing how slowly I get round to jobs sometimes, I'm hoping someone else may come up with one for sale. Also, I forgot I have tweeters in the rear cubby hole speakers so I best test them too first!‎  I may...

Re: Front speakers

There are two types of speaker for the rear. The most common, which you are likely to have, has the speakers mounted vertically on the rear trim.
