Lula's adventures continue...followed by Whitney

So, I've finally gotten round to writing this after I bought my 480 back in August. Many of you will know that it is formerly esta's GT (http://volvo480.dragons.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15171), so its been pretty well looked after which I hope to continue! I had been casually looking for a 480 (...

I have been experiencing something similar with Lula recently. On sunday, Infocentre values (eg MPG) were freezing for a time, then updating. I found that lightly pressing down the dash above the inforcentre sorted it for the rest of the day (I have not driven it since). So.....to me this indicates ...

[quote="esta" I got almost 40mpg on those journeys! Glad you are enjoying her, she's gone to a good home which I am pleased about :)[/quote] I had 43.4 t'other day :P from a long journey on A-roads (so no 70+mph parts!) She is a pleasure to drive, holds the road much better than my 440, which i am s...

I do know the price at the dealer, so yes, 125euro is pretty good, however glasgow jim (who else!) has made me an offer on a second hand one, so thanks, but I'll persue that

Wanted: CEM III

Hi chaps,

The GT has a battery drain, over a few days this is enough to prevent the car from turning over (although central locking etc works). Anyway, we have traced the problem to the CEM, so if anyone has one lying around (a decent one!) then drop me a line!

Vase Green Metallic ES M*** VCH

Saw a lovely ES today, on my estate in sutton in ashfield (near mansfield). The only blemish I saw was a slight crease on the passenger side rear arch which had obviously been caught on something. I had known of this car/spotted it before, but had not seen it for a year or so, so its grand to see it...

New owner Questions!

Hi Guys, As some of you may have noticed elsewhere on this forum I am the new owner of esta's GT "Lula". I've always fancied a 480, and hope to keep Lula for a very long time, maybe she will become a classic?! maybe not.... Anyway, thought i would ask a question or two: When the pop-ups fail I belie...

I guess I should introduce myself as the new owner of Lula! It wasnt really a fair question from esta as to who the new owner was cos ive never got round to posting here despite being a long time fan of the 480. I promise to sort myself out however and become a regular on the forum-it has already pr...
