Seriously, Richard is NOT running a business. This is a service he offers to the 480 community, as a member of that you should respect the fact that he has to earn a living, and therefore you may not be top priority in respect of getting a chipped ECU. I do believe this is fairly obvious to most peo...

Volvo Spares UK Ltd

They know Volvo's (including 480's) inside out, but be wary they are not cheap.

If the pop-up motor is not going up by hand, somewhere it has to have become disconnected from the actual light unit, or the inners of the motor are broken. The knob to manually lift the motor just uses the same mech as the motor would, expect you manually move the motor rather than electricity. Let...

Not a lot of decent examples around at the moment mate :(. They do pop up though, however if your budget is £1,500 SERIOUSLY consider a fixer upper. I've seen at least 5 GT's/Celebs recently in need of tops £500 of work to get them straight, and they barley fetch £100-£200. If you know w...

When you say the Gas Strut is fine, bear in mind that 100% ones are physically difficult to move by hand. If yours just move, then likley they are not fine at all. They are £20 or so new from Volvo each, so maybe consider if they need replacment as techinically the motor can't handle the pressure...

WANTED - Set of clear front clusters

Before I start, I know I don't have a 480 and these aren't for me.

But I am looking for a set of reasonably priced front clusters (clear) in the UK. Condition is not so important, so long as they are still useable.

PM me if you've got what I'm after.

If this was a paying business customer, my answer would be "you need a new PC mate", then I'd bill them £35 for looking at it. :D :D :D But then if I'm ever going to overtake Bill Gates I can't worry about scruples.

LOL - I'm sorley tempted, it couldn't fit worse than one of my Dad's DIY doors no matter how bad I screwed it up!

I'm already planning to fit two front seats, with the centre console to be eventually modified with steering wheels and the like to work with my games consoles.

Trust me, it did when it was towed, along with the wheels (because otherwise all the crap inside it would have fallen out whilst it was being taken along the road). My local scrappy is only down the road, I've known the owner for years, we loosend the wheel bolts, picked it up on a forklift and took...

Damn, sorry to hear that mate. To be honest, this is the #1 way to break into any car, just be thankful he didn't know what he was doing, despite the Volvo alarm being connected to the car's horn, and being loud, it is a 2 second job to disable it, you just cut the wire to the horn before breaking i...

FOR SALE - Wheel Caps (various volvo alloys £3ea)

After a clear out in my shed, I found a box containing no less than 26 wheel caps for Volvo Alloys. Most were from a scavenge at a scrappy a while back. http://web.ukonline.co.uk/robin/car/6819708.jpg I have 2 of these - PA66-MD20 (6819708) for 16 Spoke Volvo 15" http://web.ukonline.co.uk/robin/car/...

I got given one as part of a set for xmas a few years back. Like most of the useful things I had it was stolen when my old Sierra was broken into, I'm slowly replacing things, but havn't bothered with a fire extinguiser. I'm currently driving a 93 Escort 1.4 so frankly, the only thing I'd be in a hu...

It would work, basically it would halve output in theory. The only reason the stereo splits them is so you can set up the fader balance on the h/u to move the sound to where it sounds best.

Seems a bargain at £40, it plays SD/MMC cards, has a USB and Analog input plus Radio/CD player with MP3CD compatibility, RCA & SUB Outputs and I/R remote. Go to Halfrauds and pick one or two of the above features with a 1 yr warranty for at least £80! If it's also gaurenteed for 3 years, how c...

Dunno what your target is here. But I'd hold your breath until the right one comes along. £1,000 is expensive with prices where they are now, unless it's a real minter with FSH. A fixer-upper, even a GT can be got for a couple hundred quid if you are patient. Also, have you considered a Celebrati...

I just can't bring myself to like anything other than the look or style of the C30. Frankly how they can use the same chassis and engine in the Focus ST and get the handling so right, yet screw this up so bad on the C30 is beyond me, especially when everything is from Ford's parts bin now. My brothe...

I couldn't place the colour, until I remembered you having the Vase Green Metalic door off me last year. They look the most wonderful Blue in the photos, am I right they are actually green?
