The new britool tools come from the same place as facom.

I am planning on removing the whole of the rear hatch assembly, cutting off the lip, removing the seal, and fitting the replacement rear window with bonder and rivets, thus removing wiper, steel frame, lock mechanism, two hydraulic lifters. I am about to replace the windows with lexan shortly, so will weight the glass and compare it to the replacements made of lexan. Should save a good slice of weight, and move the centre of gravity lower into the car.

Easy answer to the passenger problem, only fit one seat, not very sociable but its only there for decoration most of the time.

The tar based sound dead is very heavy, but its like sitting in a bucket when it rains the noise is horendous.

According to the books the performance figures all look to be the same.

We are talking standard cars at this point and not hybrid's and modded ecu's.

Wow thats a litte bit different, its not the prettiest car, but i like the nose, but hate the cabin, far too much glass in it.

Its more than rattling in mine, i can even hear the brake pads hitting the disc. Stones when they hit the underside, are noisy, and very wet roads, well lets just put it this way go before you drive, otherwise its like being sat in the largest water feature ever on a gardening makeover programme.

I removed the upper hinge its a fiddle getting the allan key in, but it is possible, then greased the hole :wink: . Then reassembly was the reverse of disasembly!! No more squeaks.
