scrap was £125 a tonne in september , scrap is now £20 a tonne today so your scrap value is £20 etc.

there are loads on of them on ebay for about £35 but mainly pre 91 style clutches .

about £175 for the piston each :shock: or an entire engine about £1200 from volvo , don't waste your time repairing the engine just buy another from a scrap yard it will saves you lots of cash and then you could port your old head etc , engine at my local scrayard is £100 at 70k miles. cheers

Hi matey a few 440s and 460s at pete burrison recycling and bang right next door at harris brothers scarp in weston behind McDonalds on the ring road . Harris's is well sheap £10 to £15 for an ABS ECU ETC not £30 to £40 at yate

i thought it would be nice to put the standard volvo 240 DL front calipers on, which are beafy 4 piston jobs , but thats a job for an engineer

you need the bypass the boost solinoid- ( at the back of the engine bay above the turbo bolted onto the engine bay ) - to stop the ecu killing the ignition (because it's trying to stop you over boosting) search previous posts with the search engine on this forum under MBC connections etc and there a...

check the heat shields near the rear axle , the 2 rubbers on the back box become saggy , if you don't want to replace them use some beefy 5mm zip/cable ties to squish back into stiffness ( i some times this on new rubbers too) you can also stiffin up the mid exaughst by bending the 2 hooks on the ch...

mate uk parcel post would be about 3 days ,

LEE i get what your saying , i suggest that you don't drive your 480 for at least 2 weeks (as you have other stuff ) and then get in it again and i'm sure it will rejuevinate your passion. try jump starting the car and then turning the start key and quite often that can free up the starter admittedly with a a liittle 1.5 second grining noise etc .....
