You will need a 5/8" (yes that is not a metric size though 16 mm will come close) wrench, with which you can undo the bolt that holds the seat belt holder (a fairly large and bent metal bit next to the seat) to the chassis. Now you can remove the seat belt end and slide the shoulder pad around it.

I would devise some circuitry that switches the light on for a brief moment. Most of the electronics is already there. On the other hand, I'd rather have a working ABS.

By the way, 195/55-15 is the default tire size on 15" rims. You can choose 195/50-15 at a pinch but that doesn't look good on cars with standard springs.

I think it's a lot cheaper and more reliable if you source the door pockets in the UK. These bits are delicate, something the Yodel couriers can't handle.

With "ignition turned on" do you mean "engine turned on"? Or just the ignition key switched on? And does the ABS warning light turn on for a brief moment after switching on, or does it remain on all the time? And what happens if you keep pumping the pedal? Anyway, I would go to a mechanic that knows...
