going to head down to the garage tommorrow and try these, could i just disconect the knock sensor to trial run it to see if it makes a diffrence?

Yeah mine failed when i put the new engine in and it was fine when you stayed off the boost but when you pushed it it would cut. Just measure the resistance between the pins cant remeber what it should be off hand i think it tells you in the haynes. Rich :D Ill have a look then can it run without o...

Boost gauge isnt wired in yet. The ecu is standard ie no rprun mod etc, why would it make to much boost??

The knock sensor has been set to 20nm like the haynes says. Can these fail??

Randomly cutting off boost

Ok so got the car running right took it for a quick test run and when you accelerate hard it boosts for a bit then complety dies, engine stays running. Its like the boost is cutting off! I have changed so far Plugs Ecu's MAF i also tried an MBC and checked every boost hose for a spit or looseness et...

lol cheers guys. sorry been so excited trying to get it to run right.

I will check that make sure they are all the right way round. I might try running an MBC instead.

It will boost for a second then teh boost will drop off. Does that sound like the boost solinoid problem??
