The engine went in with a few mods from the guy i got it from, He told me it ran fine with these bits! Lies! :lol: I have sorted it now any way and on the way to getting all other sensors etc on and working. I wired in the boost gauge and it reads between 6-7psi, its a little hard to read on the gau...

HURRRRAAAAA!!!!

Well after changing the acuator over it now runs right!! Thank God!!! Its boosting nicly and seems ok. As an after thought i plumbed in the boost gauge so ill will take it anither run tommorrow and see how it is boosting. 6psi is right isnt it?? Thanks again to all who have helped along the way. ill get it wired in then, although i think it will rev over 4k whilst its just being revved but it cuts under load :s

he he, i do, i read the threads! i not convinced it knock sensor any way, sounds like it over boosting to me, surely the knock sensor would back off way before then if it detects owt? steve It seems to cut off at the same point every time, ill try the knock sensor and coil and see what happens.
