they come off pretty eash if you've got the black rubber ones, i'd use a hair dryer to soften up the glue/tape and they should just peel off, then get some nice tar remover and leave that on a wee whiley to take off any sticky residue!

I have a white es with black bumpers and no side strips, I love it! Was sceptical at the start when they came off but I really like it now!

If you think its too bare along the aide you could always look into a nice retro pinstripe

maybe a silly question but how did you get the engine loom removed from the bulk head? its just bit twist connectors am i correct? mine seem to be seized... unless im doing it wrong?

Check your ht lead connections! Could be those, I had a similar issue where mine died at 3k!

ive got a nearside mirror casing from a 460? its the same as a 480's smaller 'tear drop' shaped wing mirror, like below:



its in dark metallic red though, and im not 100% certain its identical, maybe someone can shine some light!

you have to be very careful when looking at new wheels for the offset and width! generally you dont want more than a 205 width tyre (so a 7.5" width rim) and on a 7.5" rim you should lookfor an offset of around ET38 i think, see below link for a good wheel fitment guide! :) if you read the first rep...

you'll find pretty much all of that quite easily, only issue is the rear lights! but decent sets do come up for sale from time to time, and there are probably people on this forum with spare sets sitting in a garage or shed somewhere that would happily sell them to see another 480 alive!

Just incase the 480 had different spline patterns in air bag and non air bag models, wouldn't surprise me with a 480 hahaha
