mazda Rx7 intank pump - std 250 hp - should be the end of any probs . my beleif is that if you run high boost the pressure is too high for the pump to keep up with - its supposed to be 120 litres an hour - how close richard is to the limit of the pump i dont know . at 24 psi (according to richard ) ...

Is the clamp knackered ? you can order samco to fit over tightly , and use a decent stainless steel clamp

the head stud , cooling waterways are the same , the 1.8 engine shares the same bore.

so im assuming it will - ive never tried it tho .

mismatch of 1-2 mm doesnt really matter - ive seen this on the dyno .

the turbo inlet tho , has a huge mismatch and does need a bit of work .

you cant really check for oil seals , even if its not boosting , there will be an oil leak altho boost will make it worse . It indicates a worn turbo - because the oil cant support the bearing anymore . Ive seen a few turbos on good ole ebay , that went for about £250 - you can probably get a recon...
