Re: May Mini Meet ?

The 28th would be better for me. It gives me more time to sort R3s issues so I can attend in it.

Re: Rescue car: R6 - our first GT

Looking really good. As you say almost a full respray . I am planning on a trip down to Oulton
Broad on the 20th of February so if the car is ready and Dc is good to go then I will give him a lift. I owe him a few favours and it will be good to catch up with you and Al. Cheers Norman.

Re: 2 pipes

Hey Norm, you may need to clarify which engine you have to get the right one. Early cars have an oval throttle body; later ones circular; and maybe other variations depending on pipes and sensor. Can you put your VIN number up? Thanks James. It’s for R3 which is a 1988 1.7 na the earliest engine I ...

Well done on the sale David although it’s worth more. Also it’s staying oop North which is fine by me. I dare say I will see the next project on my drive soon. Norm.

Re: Keeping your 480 outdoors

Thanks for much for all the quick replies... Rather than multi quote, I'll just reply to all here. I've plenty of room out front in the drive but the main space free is right in front of the living room window so a carcoon wouldn't pass the family test! They don't share my passion for old cars.... ...

Great post Jeff. I have used something like this with the thirty or forty odd cars I have owned, except of course when it comes to the wedge, heart has always ruled head unfortunately. I even acquired one without even seeing a picture of said car!

Well done Ben I really enjoyed this. There is also a possibility that Classic Car Weekly will be doing a piece on the rescue cars, here’s hoping.
